How can you join us to create, collate, translate and proofread content for the website ?
If you can create, collate, translate and proof-read the content for the websites in any of the following ways, then Arya Samaj Digital Foundation invites you to join us.
- If you have written or can write original content or articles related to Vedas, philosophy or history or any other related subject in Hindi, English or any other Indian languages, then you can join us as a content creator. Please note that you should have the experience or interest in creating content on topics that are covered in Vedic prachaar.
- We will share with you the base content (either books or articles), so far as possible, matching with your interest in the topic. Please note that most of the base content is likely to be available in Hindi. Hence, knowledge of Hindi will be important, but not necessary. We will also let you know the approximate word limit. The expectation from you is to read through the base content and write articles for use on websites. Such articles have to be simple in language.
- You can also work on translation and proof-reading of books, articles and scriptures. Please note that while you can use Google Translate for translating the content, you will have to ensure that the errors that creep into Google translate are corrected. Please fill up the form only if you can correct the errors that happen in Google Translate and submit an error-free translation. For proofreading, our expectation would be that you compare the translated content with the original content in another language and correct it. As of now, our websites are being developed in Hindi and English. However, we will be developing content in multiple languages in the future. Hence, if you can translate from Hindi to English and vice versa, and can do proof-reading in both or either language, please fill the form and join us.
- Besides Hindi and English, if you are interested in working on content in any of the Indian languages, you may please register your details and we will get in touch with you when we decide to develop content in that language as well.
- In addition, we are also getting digitisation and translations done for our scriptures (Vedas, Darshan, Upanishads etc.,). We require Scholars, Acharyas and students to deliver this work. If you have the interest, experience and knowledge to do this work, please join us.
For the above mentioned work, we have the following expectations as well .
- If you are filling up the Form as a content writer, then share an original article of 200-300 words written by you. You may write an article on any topic related to Spritualism, Society, Nation or History.
- If you are filling up the form for Translation or proof reading, then we will send you an article for translation. You would need to translate that and send the translated version to us. Based on your translation, work allocation will be decided.
- If you are a vedic scholar, acharya or student, you may share your CV which contains your qualification and experience. There is a separate committee for the digitization of Vedas/ scriptures. Members of that committee will contact you.
- For you to work in this initiative, you would need to know any one of the two languages – Hindi or English.
- All the work will be done through emails and the internet. Hence, you need to be comfortable using these.
- We expect you to perform this work, thinking of it as a mission. The mission of this project is the service of the Vaidic Dharma, Society and Nation.
- After having understood our requirements and expectations, we invite you to join this program. You may join either voluntarily or against a payment. Please fill up the form sharing your interest and details. We will revert to you after we receive your form.
